General Manager
Hannah Day
First becoming involved with horses at the tender age of 5. Hannah’s first ponies, Tosca, Shandy and Sheer Bliss took her from beginner to intermediate in all disciplines.
Joining South Medburn’s fabulous training programme after college, Hannah breezed through her BHS Qualifications under our skillful tuition. Having attained her BHS AI, she went on to further her career as a competition groom working for International show jumping rider Geoff Billington. Looking after, amongst others, his famous horse It's Otto, when he competed in the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
At just 23 years old Hannah returned to South Medburn as Yard Manager and attained her BHS Stage IV Care and Intermediate Teaching Test.
Hannah is now the General Manager of South Medburn and continues as a Senior Instructor, she also imparts her experience and knowledge occasionally in specialist lectures and jump or cross country training clinics with students. Hannah is still very involved in schooling horses and can often be found in the office too!
Hannah was influenced by Nick Skelton, Michael Whittaker, John Whittaker and Geoff Billington
